Shri Ekadasha Mukha Hanumat Kavacham

Today March 30, 2010 i.e. Chaitra Shudha Pournima is birth day of God Hanuman and it is called and celebrated as Hanuman Jayanti.
This EkadashaMukh Hanumat Kavacham (Armour) is in Sanskrit. Earlier it was told by God Brahma to Sanandan Rushi. Here it is recited by Agasti Rushi for his wife Lopamudra. In Porabandar Gujarat, there is an Ekadasha Mukha Hanuman temple. The eleven faces described in this Kavacha are as under:
1)Vanara or Kapi Mukh at East, 2) Parashuram Mukha at South-East (Aagneya), 3)Narasniha Mukha at South, 4) Shri Ganesh Mukha at South-West (Nairutya) 5) In the west Garuda Mukha who is vehicle of God Vishnu 6) Bhairav Mukha is on the North-West (Vayavya) 7) In the North Kubra Mukha (God of Wealth) 8) Rudra Mukha at north east (Ishanya) 9) At Upper Hayagriva ( Horse) Mukha( urdhva) 10) At down (Adha) Shesha Mukha and 11) Hanumat Soumya Roop Mukha.
