श्रीराममङ्गलाशासनम्

मङ्गलं कौशलेन्द्राय महनीयगुणाब्धये । 

चक्रवर्तितनूजाय सार्वभौमाय मङ्गलम् ॥ १ ॥

वेदवेदन्तवेद्याय मेघश्यामलमूर्तये । 

पुंसां मोहनरुपाय पुण्यश्लोकाय मङ्गलम् ॥ २ ॥

विश्र्वामित्रान्तरङ्गाय मिथिलानगरीपतेः ।

भाग्यानां परिपाकाय भव्यरुपाय मङ्गलम् ॥ ३ ॥

पितृभक्ताय सततं भ्रातृभिः सह सीतया ।

नन्दिताखिललोकाय रामभद्राय मङ्गलम् ॥ ४ ॥

त्यक्तसाकेतवासाय चित्रकूटविहारिणे ।

सेव्याय सर्वयमिनां धीरोदयाय मङ्गलम् ॥ ५ ॥

सौमित्रिणा च जानक्या चापबाणासिधारिणे ।

संसेव्याय सदा भक्त्या स्वामिने मम मङ्गलम् ॥ ६ ॥

दण्डकारण्यवासाय खरदूषणशत्रवे ।

गृध्रराजाय भक्ताय मुक्तिदायास्तु मङ्गलम् ॥ ७ ॥

सादरं शबरीदत्तफलमूलाभिलाषिणे ।

सौलभ्यपरिपूर्णाय सत्त्वोद्रिक्ताय मङ्गलम् ॥ ८ ॥

हनुमत्समवेताय हरीशाभीष्टदायिने ।

बालिप्रमथनायास्तु महाधीराय मङ्गलम् ॥ ९ ॥

श्रीमते रघुवीराय सेतुल्लङ्घितसिन्धवे ।

जितराक्षसराजाय रणधीराय मङ्गलम् ॥ १० ॥

बिभीषणकृते प्रीत्या लङ्काभीष्टप्रदायिने ।

सर्वलोकशरण्याय श्रीराघवाय मङ्गलम् ॥ ११ ॥

आसाद्य नगरीं दिव्यामभिषिक्ताय सीतया ।

राजाधिराजराजाय रामभद्राय मङ्गलम् ॥ १२ ॥

ब्रह्मादिदेवसेव्याय ब्रह्मण्याय महात्मने ।

जानकीप्राणनाथाय रघुनाथाय मङ्गलम् ॥ १३ ॥

श्रीसौम्यजामातृमुनेः कृपयास्मानुपेयुषे ।

महते मम नाथाय रघुनाथाय मङ्गलम् ॥ १४ ॥

मङ्गलाशासनपरैर्मदाचार्यपुरोगमैः ।

सर्वैश्र्च पूर्वैराचार्यैः सत्कृतायास्तु मङ्गलम् ॥ १५ ॥

रम्यजामातृमुनिना मङ्गलाशासनं कृतम् ।

त्रैलोक्याधिपतिः श्रीमान् करोतु मङ्गलं सदा ॥ १६ ॥

॥ इति श्रीवरवरमुनिस्वामिकृत श्रीराममङ्गलाशासनं सम्पूर्णम् ॥

श्रीराममङ्गलाशासनंचा मराठी अर्थ:

१) प्रशंसनीय गुणांचे सागर असलेल्या कौशलेन्द्र श्रीरामचमद्रांचे मंगल होवो. चक्रवर्ती राजा दशरथाचे पुत्र सार्वभौम श्रीरामचंद्रांचे मंगल होवो.

२) ज्यांना वेद, वेदान्त ज्ञात आहेत, मेघासारखे श्यामरंगाचे आहेत, पुरुषांमध्ये जे अत्यंत स्वरुपवान आहेत, त्या पुण्यश्र्लोक श्रीरामांचे मंगल होवो.

३) जे विश्र्वामित्र ऋषिचे आवडते आणि राजा जनकाचे भाग्य उजळवणारे आहेत त्या भव्यरुपवान श्रीरामांचे मंगल होवो.

४) जे नेहमीच आदर्श पितृभक्त आहेत, जे आपल्या बंधू आणि पत्नी सीतेबरोबर शोभून दिसतात, ज्यानी सर्व लोकांना आनंदी केले आहे, अशा श्रीरामांचे मंगल होवो. 

५) ज्यांनी अयोध्येचा राजवाडा सोडून चित्रकूत पर्वतावर निवास केला, जे सर्व यती लोकांचे सेव्य आहेत त्या धीरोदात्त श्रीरामांचे मंगल होवो. 

६) लक्ष्मण व जानकी ज्यांची सेवा करतात, ज्यांनी धनुष्य-बाण व तलवार धारण केलेली आहे त्या माझ्या स्वामी रामचंद्राचे ममगल होवो.

७) ज्यांनी दण्डकवनांत निवास केला आहे, जे खर-दूषणाचे शत्रु आहेत  ज्यांनी आपला भक्त गृधराजाला मुक्ति दिली त्या प्रभु रामचंद्रांचे मंगल होवो.

८) जे आदराने शबरीने दिलेल्या फल-मूलांचे अभिलाषी झाले, जे सुलभतेने प्राप्त होऊ शकतात आणि जे अत्यंत सत्वगुणी आहेत त्या श्रीरामांचे मंगल होवो. 

९) जे सदा हनुमानाशी जोडलेले आहेत, जे सुग्रीवाचे अभिष्ट करणारे आहेत आणि वालीला मारणारे आहेत त्या श्रीरामांचे मंगल असो.

१०) ज्यांनी सेतु बांधुन समुद्राला पार केले आणि राक्षसराज रावणावर विजय मिळविला त्या रणधीर श्रीरघुवीरांचे मंगल होवो.

११) ज्यांनी आनंदाने बिभीषणाकडे लंकेचे राज्य सोपविले, जे सर्व लोकांना आपल्या संरणांत ठेवतात, त्या श्रीराघव रघुभद्राचे मंगल होवो.

१२) वनामधून दिव्य नगरी अयोध्येला आल्यावर ज्यांचा सीतेसह राज्याभिषेक झाला, त्या महाराज्याचे राजा असणार्‍या राजा रानभद्राचे मंगल असो.

१३) जे ब्रह्मदेव व इतर देवांना पूजनीय सेव्य आहेत, ब्राह्मणांची व वेदांची रक्षा करणारे आहेत, जे जानकीचे प्राणनाथ आहेत, त्या रघुकुल नाथ श्रीरामांचे मंगल होवो. 

१४) जे श्रीसम्पन्न सुन्दर आकार असणारे जामाता मुनिंच्या कृपेने आम्हाला प्राप्त झाले त्या प्रभु रामचंद्रांचे मंगल होवो.

१५) माझे आचार्य ज्यांत मुख्य आहेत अशा प्राचीन आचार्यांनी मंगलाचरणांत परायण होऊन ज्यांचा सत्कार केला आहे त्या श्रीरामचंद्रांचे मंगल होवो. 

१६) जामातामुनिंनी या सुंदर मंगलाचरणाला निर्माण केले ह्याने प्रसन्न होऊन तीन लोकांचे अधिपती श्रीमान् रामचंद्र आमचे सदा मंगल करोत.

ShriHanumatProkta Mantrarajatmak RamStav is in Sanskrit. It is a beautiful creation of God Hanuman. God Hanuman is a great devotee of God Ram. Hanuman in this RamStav says that I bow to God Ram who formed a military of monkeys and bears. King of the monkeys was Sugriva. God Ram defeated Ravana with the help of this army of monkeys and bears. Hanuman says that I bow to God Ram who had given kingdom of Lanka to Bibishanan as Bibishanan surrendered to him. Bibishanan told Ram he is surrendering and joining his army. Hanuman says that he is bowing to God Ram who is everywhere and he is greatest. He is being worshiped by Gods, Rushies-Munies. Hanuman says that he bows to God Ram who is in the rupa of God Vishnu and who is very kind and who helped Jatajut to attain Moksha. Fire, Moon and Sun are having the light, heat and Teja given by God Ram who is self-luminous. Hanuman says that I bow to self-luminous God Ram. Hanuman says that I bow to God Ram who killed cruel demons like Khara, Dushan and Trishira in the battle. Hanuman says that I bow to God Ram who removes false knowledge of his devotees and gives them true knowledge and powers so that they can achieve highest spiritual knowledge. Hanuman says that I bow to NarSinha rupi God Ram who is strong and powerful like lion. Hanuman says that I bow to God Ram whom God Indra, Sun, Fire, wind and God Yama are afraid of. Sins are always run away from God Ram (by reciting Name of God Ram sins are vanishes.). Hanuman says that I bow to God Ram who is very kind and who blesses his devotees who may or may not have reached higher spiritual level. Who recites this RamStava becomes a great devotee of God Ram. 

श्रीहनुमत्प्रोक्त मन्त्रराजात्मक रामस्तव 

तिरश्चामपि चारातिसमवायं समेयुषाम् । 

यतः सुग्रीवमुख्यानां यस्तमुग्रं नमाम्यहम् ॥ १ ॥ 

सकुदेव प्रपन्नाय विशिष्टामैरयच्छ्रियम् । 

बिभीषणायाब्धितटे यस्तं वीरं नमाम्यहम् ॥ २ ॥ 

यो महान् पूजितो व्यापी महान् वै करुणामृतम् । 

श्रुतं येन जटायोश्च महाविष्णुं नमाम्यहम् ॥ ३ ॥ 

तेजसाप्यायिता यस्य ज्वलन्ति ज्वलनादयः । 

प्रकाशयते स्वतन्त्रो यस्तं ज्वलन्तं नमाम्यहम् ॥ ४ ॥ 

सर्वतोमुखता येन लीलया दर्शिता रणे । 

रक्षसां खरमुख्यानां तं वन्दे सर्वतोमुखम् ॥ ५ ॥ 

नृभावं यः प्रपन्नानां हिनस्ति च तथा नृषु । 

सिंहः सत्त्वेष्विवोत्कृष्टस्तं नृसिंहं नमाम्यहम् ॥ ६ ॥ 

यस्माद्विभ्यति वातर्कज्वलनेन्द्राः समृत्यवः । 

भियं तनोति पापानां भीषणं तं नमाम्यहम् ॥ ७ ॥ 

परस्य योग्यतापेक्षारहितो नित्यमङ्गलम् । 

ददात्येव निजौदार्याद्यस्तं भद्रं नमाम्यहम् ॥ ८ ॥ 

यो मृत्युं निजदासानां नाशयत्यखिलेष्टदः । 

तत्रोदाहृतये व्याधो मृत्युमृत्युं नमाम्यहम् ॥ ९ ॥ 

यत्पादपद्मप्रणतो भवत्युत्तमपुरुषः । 

तमजं सर्वदेवानां नमनीयं नमाम्यहम् ॥ १० ॥ 

अहंभावं समुत्सृज्य दास्येनैव रघुत्तमम् । 

भजेऽहं प्रत्यहं रामं ससीतं सहलक्ष्मणम् ॥ ११ ॥ 

नित्यं श्रीरामभक्तस्य किंकरा यमकिंकराः । 

शिवमय्यो दिशस्तस्य सिद्धयस्तस्य दासिकाः ॥ १२ ॥ 

इमं हनुमता प्रोक्तं मन्त्रराजात्मकं स्तवम् । 

पठत्यनुदिनं यस्तु स रामे भक्तिमान् भवेत् ॥ १३ ॥ 

॥ इति श्रीहुनुमत्प्रोक्त मन्त्रराजात्मक रामस्तव संपूर्णम् ॥ 

श्रीहनुमत्प्रोक्त मन्त्रराजात्मक रामस्तव हिंदी भावार्थः 

१) अपने मुख्य शत्रु रावणके विनाशके लिये जिन्होने कपिराज सुग्रीवादि तिर्यक योनिमे उत्पन्न वानर-भालुओंकी सेना संगठित की उन अति उग्र भगवान् रामको मै नमस्कार करता हूँ । 
२) समुद्रतटपर आये बिभीषणको केवल एक बार ' मैं आपको शरण हूँ ' ऐसा कहनेपर जिन्होने लंका आदिके राज्यसहित अपार वैभवको प्रदान किया, उस महावीर श्रीरामको मैं प्रणाम करता हूँ । 
३) जो सर्वव्यापक हैं, सबसे महान् हैं और देवता, ऋषि-मुनियोंसे भी पूजित हैं तथा महान् कृपा-सुधा मूर्तिमान् स्वरुप हैं और उस कृपा-सुधासे जटायुतको भी जिन्होंने संसिक्तकर मुक्त कर दिया, उन महाविष्णुस्वरुप भगवान् रामको मैं प्रणाम करता हूं । 
४) अग्नि, चन्द्रमा और सूर्य आदि तेजस्वी ज्योतिष्पुंज जिनके तेजसे ही प्रकाशित एवं प्रज्वलित होते हैं और जो स्वयं अपने तेजसे प्रकाशित होते हैं, उन प्रज्वलित तेजोमय भगवान् रामको मै प्रणाम करता हूं । 
५) रणस्थलमें खर-दूषण, त्रिशिरा आदि राक्षसोंसे युद्ध करते समय जिन्होंने अपनी लीलासे अपना मुखमण्डल सभी ओर दिखलाया (और सबका नाश कर दिया), उन सर्वतोमुख भगवान् रामकी मैं वंदना करता हूं । 
६) शरणमें आते ही जो मनुष्योंके सामान्य मोहमय मनुष्यभावको नष्टकर उन्हें लोकोत्तर ज्ञान एवं विशिष्ट दिव्य शक्तियोंसे सम्पन्न कर देते हैं और जो सम्पूर्ण विश्वमे सिंहके समान बली हैं, उन नरसिंह भगवान् रामको मैं नमन करता हूँ । 
७) जिनसे वायु, सूर्य, अग्नि, इन्द्र, यम आदि सभी भयभीत रहते हैं और पाप तो उनके भयसे सदा ही दूर भागता है, उन भीषण रामको मैं नमस्कार करता हूँ । 
८) जो अपने भक्तोंकी किसी योग्यता अपेक्षा किये बिना ही अपने उदार-स्वभावके कारण सदा सब कुछ देते ही रहते हैं और नित्य मंगलस्वरुप हैं, उन परम भद्र-स्वरुप सौजन्यमूर्ति भगवान् रामको मैं प्रणाम करता हूँ । 
९) जो अपने भक्तोंके मृत्युका समूलोच्छेदन कर उसकी सारी अभिलाषा पूर्ण कर देते हैं, इस सम्बन्धमें वाल्मीकि जो पहले कभी व्याधका काम कर रहे थे, परम प्रमाण हैं । ऐसे मृत्युके भी मृत्यु भक्तवत्सल भगवान्को मैं प्रणाम करता हूँ । 
१०) जिनके चरणकमलो प्रणाम करते ही अधम पुरुष भी अति उत्तम पुरुश बन जाता है, उन जन्मादि षड्विकारोंसे मुक्त, सभी देवताओंके द्वारा वन्दनीय भगवान् रामकी मैं वन्दना करता हूँ । 
 ११) मै (हनुमान्) ब्रह्मैकात्म-भावका परित्याग कर दास्यभाव अर्थात् सेव्य-सेवककी भावनासे अहर्निश लक्ष्मणसहित श्रीसीतारामकी उपासना करता हूँ । 
१२) भगवान् श्रीरामके भक्तोंके लिये यमदूत भी सदाके लिये किंकर (दास, सेवक) बन जाते हैं, उसके लिये दसों दिशाएँ मंगलमयी हो जाती हैं और सभी सिद्धियाँ उसके चरणोमै लोटती है । 
१३) हनुमान्जीद्वारा प्रोक्त इस मन्त्रराजात्मकक स्तोत्रका नित्य पाठ करता है, वह भगवान् श्रीरामका भक्त हो जाता है । 
भावार्थ और मूल स्तोत्र कल्याण मई २०१० से आभार तथा धन्यवाद सहित लिया है ।

The following advice (stotra) is from Guru (Master) to the disciples. Guru is shri Gondavalekar Maharaj. He was a great devotee of God Shri Ram and was incarnation of God Hanuman. Shri Gondavalekar Maharaj is telling us to chant the name of God Shri Ram. By doing so we can purify our mind and become successful in all our endeavors and receive peace, happiness and get everything we desire in our life. Since he was devotee of God Ram, he is telling us to recite the name of God Ram; however any name of God can be recited for peace, happiness and getting anything desired. This advice or Stotra is in Marathi Language.
1 Recite the name (Shri Ram), sing the name shri Ram and tell to the people name Shri Ram. Name shri Ram is the only truth. This is the advice of shri Guru (shri Gondavalekar Maharaj) to the devotees.
2 While doing any work, enjoying or at the time of entertainment recite the name of God Ram. But avoid from excessive involvement in this domestic life of enjoyment and entertainment. This is the advice of shri Guru (shri Gondavalekar Maharaj) to the devotees.
3 Always keep your self in happy state of mind; keep yourself away from Laziness, Fear and envy. Never forget to recite the name of God Shri Ram. This is the advice of shri Guru (shri Gondavalekar Maharaj) to the devotees.
4 Always talk softly and use kind words and always see that you are humble so that people will like you and recite the name of Raghupati (Shri Ram) with devotion. This is the advice of shri Guru (shri Gondavalekar Maharaj) to the devotees.
5 Always see that your mind and body is pure. Do not entertain any type of bad feeling, bad deeds. Please don’t hurt anybody’s mind. This is the advice of shri Guru (shri Gondavalekar Maharaj) to the devotees.
6 Always say that “God Ram is my sakha (Real friend) and I am servant of God Ram”. Always be honest with God Ram. This is the advice of shri Guru (shri Gondavalekar Maharaj) to the devotees.
7 O! God Ram I will take the severe efforts, make me successful, or don’t; it is your power because I know that what ever I do is because of your power. This is the advice of shri Guru (shri Gondavalekar Maharaj) to the devotees.
8 Always see that you are behaving properly with others; you are not hurting anybody or taking advantage of his rights. Treat your stay on this earth as a game. This is the advice of shri Guru (shri Gondavalekar Maharaj) to the devotees.
9 Be always happy in whatever life situation you are, treat your life on earth (domastic day to day life) as devotion of God Ram. Always think that whatever pleasure, happiness you receive in your life is because of God Ram. This is the advice of shri Guru (shri Gondavalekar Maharaj) to the devotees.
10 You become selfish and alert in reciting the name of God Ram and think that God Ram is doer of all the things which you do, to destroy the pride which is in your mind (i.e. to destroy the big” I “, “me”, “mine “factor). This is the advice of shri Guru (shri Gondavalekar Maharaj) to the devotees.
11 Pride is our big enemy which causes all the troubles, difficulties, sorrow and every bad effect in our life. By reciting the name of God Ram we can destroy this big enemy (Pride) this is the advice of shri Guru (shri Gondavalekar Maharaj) to the devotees.
12 You may have power to rule, may have lot of money and respect and all of a sudden you loose everything but still you remain be calm and stable and satisfied by reciting the name of God Ram. This is the advice of shri Guru (shri Gondavalekar Maharaj) to the devotees.
13 God likes love. Value of Love can not be done in terms of money. Your Guru is thirsty of love and he wants you to recite the name of God Ram and love God Ram. This is the advice of shri Guru (shri Gondavalekar Maharaj) to the devotees.

1. O! God ShriRamchandra, you love your devotees, you are having a very kind and soft nature I bow to you. Those devotees who have no attachments, no desire for achieving or accumulating anything such devotees become free from this bondage by your blessings, I worship your lotus like feet.

2. O! God ShriRamchandra, you are very beautiful, with a blue color, your eyes are just like full blossom lotus, you are making us free from ego, envy and all such bad vice and you are always ready to free us from bondage of life.

3. O! God ShriRamchandra, your victory with your long arms and your glory is outstanding, by holding Bow and Arrows in your hands you are the king of this world.

4. O! God ShriRamchandra, you are born in Surya Vansha and embellishing the Vansha, you have broken the Shiva Danusha (bow), you are creator of joy for Rushies and Munies (Saints) and you are making Gods happy by fighting demons.

9. O! God ShriRamchandra, you are the only one, miraculous, able to do anything, beyond comparison, you don’t have any desires, God of every one, Guru of the world, you are always there, and you are beyond three gunas (virtues).

10. O! God ShriRamchandra, you love the devotees, who have got faith in you, you are not for the bad people, you are giving everything to the devotees they desire. You are always impartial. You are always proper for worshiping you. I bow to you.

11. O! God ShriRamchandra, O! JankiNath (husband of Janaki i.e. Sita), O! Lord of the world, I bow to you please bless me. Please accept me as your devotee. Please let me worship your lotus like feet.

12. Those people who recite this ShriRamchandra Stuti (praise) with faith, devotion and respect; there is no doubt that they receive blessings from God ShriRamchandra.

कर्णावलम्बिवलकुण्डलशोभिगण्डं ।

कर्णान्तदीर्घनयनं नयनाभिरामम् ॥ १ ॥

प्रातर्भजामि रघुनाथमुखारविन्दं ।

रक्षोगणाय भयदं वरदं निजेभ्यः ।

यद्राजसंसदि विभज्य महेशचापं ।

सीताकरग्रहणमंगलमाप सद्यः ॥ २ ॥

प्रातर्नमामि रघुनाथमुखारविन्दं । 

वज्रांकुशादिशुभरेखि सुखावहं मे ।

योगीन्द्रमानसमधुवतसेव्यमानं ।

शापापहं सपदि गौतमधर्मपत्न्याः ॥ ३ ॥

प्रातर्वदामि वचसा रघुनाथनाम ।

वाग्दोषहरसि सकलं शमलं निहन्ति ।

यत्पार्वती स्वपतिना सह भोक्तुकामा ।

प्रीत्या सहस्रहरिनामसमं जजाप ॥ ४ ॥

प्रातः श्रये श्रुतिनुतां रघुनाथमूर्ति ।

नीलाम्बुजोत्पलसितेतररत्ननीलाम् ।

आमुक्तमौक्तिकविशेषविभूषणाढ्यां ।

ध्येयां समस्तमुनिभिर्जनमुक्तिहेतुम् ॥ ५ ॥

यः श्र्लोकपंचकमिदं प्रयतः पठेद्धि ।

नित्यं प्रभतसमये पुरुषः प्रबुद्धः ।

श्रीरामकिंकरजनेषु स एव मुख्यो ।

भूत्वा प्रयाति हरिलोकमनन्यलभ्यम् ॥ ६ ॥

॥ इति श्रीरामस्य प्रातः स्मरणम् संपूर्ण ॥

श्रीराम प्रातस्मरणचा मराठी अर्थ

१) मन्द हास्याने, मधुर बोलण्याने आणि विशाल कपाळ असलेल्या, कानामध्ये हालणार्‍या कुंडलांनीं शोभून दिसणार्‍या, कर्णापर्यंत विशाल नेत्रांनी शोभून दिसणार्‍या अशा नेत्रांना आनंद देणार्‍या श्रीरघुनाथाच्या मुखारविंदाचे मी प्रातःकाळी स्मरण करतो. 

२) राक्षसांना भय उत्पन्न करणार्‍या, भक्तांना वरदान देणार्‍या आणि राजसभेत श्रीशंकरांचे धनुष्य तोडून सीतेचे ममगलमय पाणिग्रहण करणार्‍या श्रीरघुनाथांच्या करकमलांचे मी प्रातःकाळी स्मरण करतो.

३) वज्र, अंकुश आदि शुभचिन्हांनीयुक्त मला सुखावह असलेल्या, योगी आदी जनांकडून नेहमी सेवा केल्या-पूजल्या जाणार्‍या आणि गौतम पत्नीची ( अहिल्या ) शापापासून मुक्तता करणार्‍या श्रीरघुनाथांच्या चरणकमलांचे मी प्रातःकाळी स्मरण करतो.

४) जे वाणीमध्ये असलेल्या दोषांचा नाश करते, जे सर्व पापांचा नाश करते आणि ज्याचा जप शंकरासह राहण्याच्या इच्छेने पार्वतीने अत्यंत प्रेमाने श्रीविष्णुसहस्र नामाप्रमाणे केला. त्या श्रीरघुनाथाच्या नामाचा मी प्रातःकाळी जप करतो.

५) वेदवंदित असलेल्या, नीलकमळ व नीलमणि यांच्या मालांनी विभूषित, सर्व मुनि जनांचे ध्येय असलेल्या व त्यांना मुक्ति देणार्‍या श्रीरघुनाथांच्य मूर्तिचे मी प्रातःकाळी स्मरण करतो.

६) जो पुरुष प्रातःकाळी लवकर उठून या पांच श्र्लोकांचे पठण करतो तो श्रीरामचंद्रांच्या सेवकांमध्ये मुख्य होऊन, जो इतर लोकांस दुर्लभ आहे अशा श्रीहरि लोकास प्राप्त होतो. 

अशा रीतीने श्रीरामचंद्रांचे प्रातःस्मरण संपूर्ण झाले.    

Shri Ram PratahaSmranam

Today 16th March 2010 is Gudipadava. Hindu year starts from Shudha Pratipada (1st day)

of Chaitra (name of the month) masa (month). This day is called as Gudipadava. It is a very auspicious and holy day. Any new work is started on this day to have a success. It is a day when God Ram defeated Ravana conquered Lanka and then entered Ayodhya. It is also a day when God Brahmadev created this world. I am wishing a very happy, prosperous, healthy and wealthy new year to all.

Shri Ram Prataha Smranam. This is in Sanskrit. The name indicates that, this stotra is to be recited by getting up very early in the morning (Prataha). Devotees of Shri Ram recite this stotra early in the morning. They believe that by remembering (Smaranam) Shri Ram early in the morning their day will begin and end without any trouble, happily and peacefully and they will be successful in their endeavors. Belief, Faith and Devotion works wonders in anybody’s life.

1) I remember lotus like beautiful face of Shri Raghunath (Shri Ram) early in the morning which has a sweet smile, soft and sweet talk, with a broad forehead, with beautiful swinging earrings in the ears, with big eyes reaching up to the ears which is looking pleasant to my eyes.

2) I remember the lotus like hands of shri Raghunath early in the morning which are making fear in the minds of Rakshasaja (Demons), which are for giving blessings to the devotees and which have broken the bow of God Shiva and married Sita in the Rajasabha (royal court).

3) I remember the lotus like feet of shri Raghunath early in the morning which are having auspicious signs such as Vajra and Ankush etc, which are worshiped and offered holy service by Yogies and Rushies and these feet have removed the curse and sufferings of the wife (Ahilya) of Goutamrushi.

4) I remember and recite the name of shri Raghunath early in the morning which makes us free from sins, which removes flaw, disorder from our speech and which was recited by Parvati (Wife of God Shiva) just like pious One thousand names God Vishnu’s with a desire/ambition to marry/stay with God Shiva.

5) I remember shri Raghunath early in the morning, who is worshiped in Vedas, who has a blue color just like blue lotus and blue jewel, who is looking very beautiful by wearing swinging garlands of pearls and who is offering his blessings to Rushies, Munies and devotees and making them free from bondage of life.

6) Any devotee who by rising early in the morning recites the above 5 shlokas (Stanzas) every day becomes beloved of God Rama, becomes chief among the devotees of God Rama who serve him always. Finally at the end of life reach to the God Hari loka (The kingdom God Vishnu).

Thus here ends the God Rama PratahaSmaranam.

ShriRamHrudayam

Shri Ram Hrudayam is in Sanskrit. It is told by Shri Ram himself in presence of Shri Hanuman. It starts with bowing to Ganesh. Then God Shri Shankar is telling Ram Hrudayam in Shri Ram’s own words. The main meaning of this stotra is atman and parmatman are not two but they are one in totality. We see the reflection of the sky in the water so is the paramatman reflection is seen in every individual as atman. However we the mortals think that God or Parmatama is in Heaven and he is separate from us. We have to understand that Parmatama is within us only and we all are one. Shri Ram Hrudayam is from Adhyatam Ramayana.

Shri RamaShtakam

Shri Ramashtakam is in Sanskrit and it is a wonderful creation of Shri Brahmanand. He bows to God Ganesh. He says I bow to Lord Ram whose forehead is looking very beautiful with (Chandan) sandal paste applied on it. I bow to Lord Ram who helped rushies for completing their yadnyas, who had done final salvation (upliftment) of Ahilya, Who had broken very heavy bow of Lord Shankar to marry Sita. I bow to Lord Ram who went to forest to obey his father’s word, who had got bow in his hand, who had done final salavation of Jatayu. (Jatayu was the big bird that fought with Ravana to rescue Sita.) Further each and every stanza is describing a virtue of Lord Ram. Finally Shri Brahmanand says reciting this Ramashtakam makes us fearless. All the obstacles from our life are removed. We have to recite it with unshakable faith in mind, full concentration and devotion for Lord Ram.
