ShanaishcharStavaraj 

Vaishakha krushna Amavasya is the birth day of Bhagwan Shani. We call this day as Shanaishchar Jayanti. Current year it is on 20th may 2012. In many Shani temples it is celebrated. Idol of Bhagwan Shani is worshiped. A special TailSnan, Tail abishek (bath with Teel-oil) is performed on the idol. Black and blue flowers are used for pooja. As per astrological assumption Bhagwan Shani is of very much importance in everybody’s horoscope. If Shani is favorable life becomes beautiful, happy and without much troubles. If Shani is placed badly in the horoscope or with one of or with many of Mars-Sun-Harshal-Rahu-Ketu life may become measurable. Hence to please Bhagwan Shani and to receive his blessing for everybody, I am uploading ShanaishcharStavaraj. It is kind of praise of Bhagwan Shani. This is in Sanskrit. This Stavaraj is a combination of Shani Kavacha and Shani AstottaraShatNam. It is from Bhavishya Purana. 

Sindhudwip is the rushi of this ShanaishcharStavaraj. Its chanda is Gaayatri. Aapo is devata. This is recited for Bhagwan Shani and to receive his blessings. Narad Said. 

1 King Dharmaraja (Elder Pandava) first bow to God Ganesh and then told/chanted this stava (Praise) of Bhagwan Shani. 

2 Bhaaskri (Name of Bhagawan Shani meaning son of Sun) may protect my head. My forehead be protected by ChaayaaSuta (Name of Bhagawan Shani meaning son of Chaayaa), my eyes be protected by Kotraksho (Name of Bhagawan Shani), my ears bee protected by Shikhikanthanibha (Name of Bhagawan Shani), 

3 Let Bhishan (Name of Bhagawan Shani) protect my nose, my mouth be protected by Valimukha (Name of Bhagawan Shani), my shoulders be protected by Sanvartak (Name of Bhagawan Shani),, my arms be protected by Bhayado (Name of Bhagawan Shani). 

4 My heart be protected by Souri (Name of Bhagawan Shani), my naabhi be protected by Shanaishchar, my west be protected by King of planets (Name of Bhagawan Shani) and RaviNandan (Name of Bhagawan Shani meaning son of Sun) may protect me from everywhere. 

5 My feet be protected by Mandagati (Name of Bhagawan Shani) and Krishna (Name of Bhagawan Shani) protect my remaining whole body. Whosoever recites this kavacham every day receives protection/blessings by Bhagwan Shani and there is no doubt that he becomes happy, have children and live healthy long life. 

From 6 to 20 all the AshtottaraShat (108) Names of Bhagwan Shani are recited / told. Whosoever recites these AshtottaraShat (108) Names of son of Sun and Chaayaa every day; there is no doubt that all his troubles are vanished / removed. It is better to perform Pooja of Bhagwan Shani and with devotion and faith recites the above names. It gives better results on Saturday. 

21-25 If Shani is in Lagna (Ascendant) or if in bad rashies (Mesha, Sinha or Vrushika) or unfavorable by Gochari, or in unfavorable Dasha then this Stava should be recited and Shani pooja is to be performed by devotee on iron idol of Shani with devotion using shami flower, akshataa. Such devotee becomes free from sorrow, unhappiness, and troubles from other Grahas are also removed. There is no doubt that devotee who recites this Stavaraj becomes free from fear, bindings and diseases. He becomes rich, famous and has children. When Partha (Arjun) completed reciting this Stava, Bhagwan Shani appeared in front of him and blessed the king fulfilling his desire and disappeared. 

Thus here completes this Shanaishchar Stavaraj which is from Bhavishya Purana.

Shri LakshmiNrusinha Stotram श्रीलक्ष्मीनृसिंहस्तोत्रम्  

We celebrate Shri Nrusinha Jayanti (Birth day of God Nrusinha) on every Vaishakha Shuddha Chaturdashi. God Nrusinha is the 4th incarnation of God Vishnu. This year we celebrated Shri Nrusinha Jayanti on 4th May 2012, Friday. Demon Hiranyakashyapu was father of Pralhad. Pralhad was a great devotee of God Vishnu. Pralhad always chant the name/mantra of God Vishnu. Demon Hiranyakashyapu was God Vishnu’s enemy. He can’t tolerate that his son be a devotee of his enemy and was very angry that Pralhad was chanting Vishnu Mantra every day. Hiranyakashyapu asked him that where his God Vishnu was and whether he is there in the pole. Bhakta Prahlad said yes. Then demon hit the pole with his strong foot breaking it into two pieces and then God Nrusinha appeared from the broken pole. God Nrusinha was having upper half body like of lion and other half body like a man. He lifted demon and took him in his lap and killed him by tearing demon’s body with his strong nails. The day on which God Nrusinha killed demon Hiranyakashyapu was Vaishakha Shudha Chaturdashi.  

God Nrusinha Navaratra 

Many families/devotees celebrate God Nrusinha Navaratra also. Navaratra starts nine days before God Nrusinha Jayanti that is from Vaishakha Shuddha Shashthi. All nine days many people keep fast. Last day of the fast is always on Vaishakha Shuddha Chaturdashi i.e. on Shri Nrusinha Jayanti. A Samai (holy lamp) is kept burning for all nine days using pure ghee. It is kept on a fix place without moving it for all nine days. Idol of God Nrusinha is worshiped every day, Pooja, Aarati also are performed in the morning and in the evening every day. 10th day is called as Parane (the day on which devotees ends their fast). On this day a Brahmin or a Brahmin with his wife is invited for dinner. They are offered dakshina (money), wife of the Brahmin is honoured with Coconut, Saree, rice, halad-kumkum and money which is called as Oti. For all nine days Prasad like Sweets, Pedhas, fruits, Sugar, Coconut, and Gul is distributed to the devotees every day after Aarati of God Nrusinha. On the day of Parane devotees prepare vegetarian food like Puran, Khir as a sweet and something deep fried for dinner. 

Shri LakshmiNrusinha Stotram is in Sanskrit and it is a beautiful creation of Aadya Shankaraacharya. 

1. Hey! LakshmiNrusinha you live in shining ocean of milk, you have held a chakra in your hand, you are also shining because of shining of the pearls of Sheshnag, hey Yogish, hey Sanatan, hey merciful God of the devotees, Hey Ship of the Sansar-Sagar(Ocean) please give me shelter by your hands and protect me. 

2. Your holy feet are shining because of the bright rays of Brahma, Indra, Rudra, Marut and Sun. Hey Shri Lakshmi’s Rajhansa, Hey LakshmiNrusinha please give me shelter by your hands and protect me. 

3. Hey! Murare (name of God Vishnu), I am victim of Kamdev who lives in this Sansara and keep people under his control make them behave badly; hence Hey LakshmiNrusinha please give me shelter by your hands and protect me. 

4. I have fallen in this very dreadful and very deep well of Sansara, and frighten by many sorrows and sufferings; Hey! LakshmiNrusinha please give me shelter by your hands and protect me. 

5. I am sinking in this ocean of Sansara which is full of difficulties and dreadful sufferings and my body is becoming unhealthy since I am a victim of different likes, dislikes and passions and tests. Hey! LakshmiNrusinha please give me shelter by your hands and protect me. 

 6. Hey merciful! Here is a tree of Sansara where sin is the seed, many births are its branches, body organs are leaves, Kamdev is a flower and sorrow is the fruit. I am following from this tree, LakshmiNrusinha please give me shelter by your hands and protect me. 

7. I am destroyed by this Serpent like Sansara and because of its teeth’s poison I am burning; Hey GarudVahan (name of God Vishnu), Hey Kshirasagarshayi (name of God Vishnu), and Hey LakshmiNrusinha please give me shelter by your hands and protect me. 

 8. I am burning in this fire of Sansara and I have taken shelter of your feet. Hey LakshmiNrusinha please give me shelter by your hands and protect me. 

9. Hey Jagannivas (name of God Vishnu) I am trapped in the different desires of my organs like a fish trapped in a net, my head and taalu (very soft middle part of the skull) are broken. Hey LakshmiNrusinha please give me shelter by your hands and protect me. 

10. Hey Sakalaartinashan (name of God Vishnu), I am destroyed by the elephant like Sansara, the fear of death-birth always frightens me. Hey LakshmiNrusinha please give me shelter by your hands and protect me. 

11. Hey Prabho (name of God Vishnu), my intelligence is lost because of the different desires of my organs. Desires are thieves and are looting my discrimination and because of that I have fallen in a blind, deep well of affection. I have become blind hence hey LakshmiNrusinha please give me shelter by your hands and protect me. 

12. Hey Lakshimpate! Kamalnabh, Suresh, Vishno, Vaikuntha, Krishna, Madhusudan, Pushkraksha, Brahmanya, Keshav, Janarrdan, Vasudev, Devesh I am humble please give me shelter by your hands and protect me. 

13. This stotra is like a shelter for those who are suffering and unhappy because then have fallen into this mayarupi (false) sansaar. This stotra is created and offered at the feet of LakshmiNrusinha by Shankara (charya) for the benefit of such people for receiving blessing by LakshmiNrusinha for such people.

II इति श्रीमच्छङ्कराचार्यकृतं श्रीलक्ष्मीनृसिंहस्तोत्रं संपूर्णम् II 

श्रीलक्ष्मीनृसिंहस्तोत्रं मराठी अर्थः 

१) हे अति शोभिवंत क्षीरसागरांत निवास करणार्या, हातामध्ये चक्र धारण केलेल्या, शेषाच्या फण्यावरील मण्यांनी देदीप्यमान मनोहर मूर्तीवाल्या, हे योगीशा, हे सनातना, हे शरणागतांसाठी वत्सल असणार्या, हे संसार सागरांतील नौकारूपी असणार्या, श्रीलक्ष्मीनृसिंह ! मला आपल्या करकमलांचा सहारा द्या. 

२) आपले अमल चरणकमल ब्रह्मा, इन्द्र, मरुत् आणि सूर्य आदींच्या कोटीकोटी किरणांच्या समुहाने अति तेजस्वी दिसत आहेत. हे लक्ष्मीच्या कुचकमलाच्या राजहंसा ! मला आपल्या करकमलांचा सहारा द्या. 

३) हे मुरारी ! संसाररूपी गहन अरण्यांत वनामध्ये चरणार्या कामदेवरुपी भयानक मृगराजामुळे पिडलेल्या आणि मत्सररूपी घामाने संतप्त आणि अति आर्त झालेल्या मला, हे श्रीलक्ष्मीनृसिंह ! आपल्या करकमलांचा सहारा द्या. 

४) संसार रुपी अति भयानक आणि अगाध कुपाच्या तळाला शेकडो प्रकारच्या दुःखरुपी सर्पांमुळे व्याकुळ आणि अति दीन, अति कृपण आणि आपत्तीग्रस्त झालेल्या मला हे श्रीलक्ष्मीनृसिंह ! आपल्या करकमलांचा सहारा द्या. 

५) संसार सागरांत अति कराल आणि मोठ्या कालरूपी नक्रांनी आणि ग्राहणानी ग्रासल्याने ज्याचे शरीर निगृहीत झाले आहे, आणि आसक्ती आणि रसानारूपी तरंगानी जो पिडलेला आहे, अशा मला हे श्रीलक्ष्मीनृसिंह ! आपल्या करकमलांचा सहारा द्या. 

६) हे दयाळू ! ज्याचे बीज पाप हे आहे, अनंत कर्म ज्याच्या फांद्या आहेत, इंद्रिये ज्याची पाने आहेत, कामदेव ज्याचे फुल आहे, आणि दुःख हेच ज्याचे फळ आहे अशा संसाररूपी वृक्षावर चढून मी आता खाली पडत आहे. अशा मला हे श्रीलक्ष्मीनृसिंह ! आपल्या करकमलांचा सहारा द्या. 

७) या संसाररुपी सर्पाच्या विकट तोंडांतील भय निर्माण करणार्या दाढांच्या कराल विषाने दग्ध होऊन नष्ट झालेल्या मला, हे गरुडवाहना, हे क्षीरसागरशायी, शौरी, हे श्रीलक्ष्मीनृसिंह ! आपल्या करकमलांचा सहारा द्या. 

 ८) संसाररुपी अग्नीमुळे होणार्या दाहाने, त्याच्या अति आतुर आणि भयंकर ज्वाळांनी ज्याचे रोम रोम जाळून गेले आहेत आणि ज्याने आपल्या चरण-कमल रुपी सरोवराचा आश्रय घेतलेला आहे, अशा मला हे श्रीलक्ष्मीनृसिंह ! आपल्या करकमलांचा सहारा द्या. 

९) हे जगन्निवास ! जाळ्यांत फसणार्या माश्याप्रमाणे, सगळ्या इंद्रियांचे विषयरूपी संसारपाशांत पडून ज्याचे टाळू आणि मस्तक खंडित झाले आहे अशा मला हे श्रीलक्ष्मीनृसिंह ! आपल्या करकमलांचा सहारा द्या. 

१०) हे सकल अडचणींचा नाश करणार्या, संसाररुपी भयानक हत्तीच्या सोंडेच्या आघातांनी ज्याचे मर्मस्थान तुटले आहे आणि प्राण जाते समयी होणार्या दुःखाप्रमाणे संसाररुपी जन्म-मरणाच्या भयाने अति व्याकुळ झाला आहे अशा मला हे श्रीलक्ष्मीनृसिंह ! आपल्या करकमलांचा सहारा द्या. 

११) हे प्रभो ! इंद्रियरुपी प्रबळ चोराने माझे विवेक नांवाचे माझे धन चोरले आहे आणि मोहरुपी काळोखाच्या विहिरींत पडलेला आहे अशा मला आंधळ्याला हे श्रीलक्ष्मीनृसिंह ! आपल्या करकमलांचा सहारा द्या. 

१२) हे लक्ष्मीपते !, हे कमलनाभ !, हे देवेश्वर !, हे विष्णो !, हे वैकुंठ !, हे कृष्ण !, हे मधुसूदन ! हे कमलनयन !, हे ब्रह्मण्य !, हे केशव !, हे जनार्दन !, हे वासुदेव !, हे देवेश !, मला दीनाला आपल्या करकमलांचा सहारा द्या. 

१३) ज्याचे स्वरूप मायेमुळेच प्रकट झाले आहे, अशा संसारांत बुडलेल्या लोकांसाठीच या लोकी अति बलिष्ट हातांनी आश्रय देणारे सुखकारक स्तोत्र या पृथ्वीवर लक्ष्मीनृसिंहाच्या चरणकमळी भुंगारुपी शंकराने (श्री आद्य शंकराचार्यांनी) रचिले आहे. 

अशा प्रकारे हे श्री आद्य शंकराचार्यांनी रचिलेले श्रीलक्ष्मीनृसिंहस्तोत्र संपूर्ण झाले.

DevyaparadhakshamapanaStotram 

Vaishakha Shudha Panchami is the birth day of Shri Adya Shankaracharya. This year we celebrated Adya Shankaracharya Jayanti on 26th April 2012. My plan failed to upload this Stotra on that day. I am sorry for that; however I am uploading this Devyaparadhakshamapana Stotram in the memory of Shri Adya Shankaracharya today. This is a very beautiful creation of Param Poojya Adya Shankaracharya. This is in Sanskrit. It is addressed to Goddess DurgaMata. Great devotee like Adya Shankaracharya is asking Goddess to forgive him. He is telling Goddess that I am your son and you are my mother. Son can become or behave badly but mother never treat her son badly and mother never become bad. 

1. O! Mother (Goddess Durga) I don’t know your Mantra, Yantra, Stotra, Aavahan (how to call you), Dhyan, Stories of your praise, Mudra or Vilap. But I know to follow you who remove all my difficulties and sorrow. 

2. O! Merciful Mother you give blessings to all the people. I might have committed mistakes while serving, praying or worshiping you; since I don’t know how to worship, since I don’t have money, because of laziness, or because of not knowing a definite, systematic way of worshiping, please forgive me. Son can behave badly or commit mistakes but mother can never treat him badly. Hence forgive me. 

3. O! Mother there is your many great and good devotees on this earth. Even though I am different from them and very fickle, fugitive; O! Mother Shive please doesn’t neglect me because Son can behave badly or commit mistakes but mother can never treat him badly. Hence forgive me. 

4. O! Mother of the universe I have not served, not worshiped you properly. I have not offered you required money even though you love me and bless me. Your kindness and mercy proves that Son can behave badly or commit mistakes but mother can never treat him badly. 

5. O! Mother of God Ganesh, I after completion of 85 years of my age, and knowing the different ways of worshiping and frighten by all these stopped worshiping all other Gods. If you don’t forgive me then who can forgive and bless me? (It means nobody other than Goddess Durga can forgive and bless). 

6. O! Mother Arpane, Your mantras makes (even only entering into the ears) chandal (a person born in low cast) a good orator and very poor person becomes a very reach person and leaves fearlessly and happily for a longer period. Then if any devotee makes an anushthan (doing some auspicious things with certain procedure for a specific period of time) of your mantras then the result and fruits of such anushthan is beyond the knowledge of anybody. The blessings are so big that anybody can’t imagine it. 

7. He is happy in applying ChitaBhasma, happily drinks poison, happy as digambar (without any clothes on the body), Jatajut (a sort of hair style), wearing serpents around the neck, holding a soil vessel in the hand, lord of Pashupati and Ghosts; he is known as Jagdishwar (God Of the Universe) because o! Goddess he has married you. 

 8. O! Mother ChandraMukhi (having a face like The Moon), I don’t desire Moksha, nor have a desire of material wealth or happiness, only I want to spent my whole life chanting Mrudani, Rudrani, ShivShiv Bhavani and your other names.

9. O! Mother Shyame, I have not worshiped you with different and required customs; on the contrary I have spent my time in bad thinking and using bad words and done many bad things. You are my mother hence it is right if you bless me. 

10. O! Durge, O! Merciful Maheshwari, when I am in difficult I always remember you and chant your name. Please don’t treat it as my cruelty or selfishness becasuse hungry and thirsty child like me remembers mother. 

11. O! Mother of the universe, you always bless me; it is not a surprising thing as Son can behave badly or commit mistakes but mother can never treat him badly. 

12. O! Mahadevi, I have committed many sins nobody as sinner as me and there is nobody like you who can destroy sins; knowing this please do as you think good for me.

न मन्त्रं नो यन्त्रं तदपि च न जाने स्तुतिमहो 

न चाह्वानं ध्यानं तदपि च न जाने स्तुतिकथाः I 

न जाने मुद्रास्ते तदपि च न जाने विलपनं

परं जाने मातस्त्वदनुसरणं क्लेशहरणम् II १ II

विधेरज्ञानेन द्रविणविरहेणालसतया

विधेयाशक्यत्वात्तव चरणयोर्या च्युतिरभूत् I

तदेतत्क्षन्तव्यं जननि सकलोद्धारिणि शिवे

कुपुत्रो जायेत क्वचिदपि कुमाता न भवति II २ II

पृथिव्यां पुत्रास्ते जननि बहवः सन्ति सरलाः

परं तेषां मध्ये विरलतरलोSहं तव सुतः I

मदीयोSयं त्यागः समुचितमिदं नो तव शिवे

 कुपुत्रो जायेत क्वचिदपि कुमाता न भवति II ३ II

जगन्मातर्मातस्तव चरणसेवा न रचिता

न वा दत्तं देवि द्रविणमपि भूयस्तव मया I

तथापि त्वं स्नेहं मयि निरुपमं यत्प्रकुरूषे

कुपुत्रो जायेत क्वचिदपि कुमाता न भवति II ४ II

परित्यक्ता देवा विविधविधिसेवाकुलतया

मया पञ्चाशीतेरधिकमपनीते तु वयसि I

इदानीं चेन्मातस्तव यदि कृपा नापि भविता

निरालम्बो लम्बोदरजननि कं यामि शरणम् II ५ II

श्र्वपाको जल्पाको भवति मधुपाकोपमगिरा

निरातङ्को रङ्को विहरति चिरं कोटिकनकैः I

तवापर्णे कर्णे विशति मनुवर्णे फ़लमिदं

जनः को जानीते जननि जपनीयं जपविधौ II ६ II

चिताभस्मालेपो गरलमशनं दिक्पटधरो

जटाधारी कण्ठे भुजगपतिहारी पशुपतिः I

कपाली भूतेशो भजति जगदीशैकपदवीं

भवानि त्वत्पाणिग्रहणपरिपाटीफ़लमिदम् II ७ II

न मोक्षस्याकाङ्क्षा भवविभववाञ्छापि च न मे

न विज्ञानापेक्षा शशिमुखि सुखेच्छापि न पुनः I

अतस्त्वां संयाचे जननी जननं यातु मम वै

मृडानी रुद्राणी शिव शिव भवानीति जपतः II ८ II

नाराधितासि विधिना विविधोपचारैः

किं रुक्षचिन्तनपरैर्न कृतं वचोभिः I

श्यामे त्वमेव यदि किञ्चन मय्यनाथे

धत्से कृपामुचितमम्ब परं तवैव II ९ II

आपत्सु मग्नः स्मरणं त्वदीयं

करोमि दुर्गे करुणार्णवेशि I

नैतच्छठत्वं मम भावयेथाः

क्षुधातृषार्ता जननीं स्मरन्ति II १० II

जगदम्ब विचित्रमत्र किं परिपूर्णा करुणास्ति चेन्मयि I

अपराधपरम्परावृतं न हि माता समुपेक्षते सुतम् II ११ II

मत्समः पातकी नास्ति पापघ्नी त्वत्समा न हि I

एवं ज्ञात्वा महादेवि यथा योग्यं तथा कुरु II १२ II

इति श्री मच्छन्कराचार्यकृतं देव्यपराधाक्षमापनस्तोत्रं

देव्यपराधक्षमापन स्तोत्र मराठी अर्थ: 

१) हे माते ! मी तुझा मंत्र, यंत्र, स्तुती, आवाहन, ध्यान, स्तुतीकथा, मुद्रा किंवा विलाप काहीही जाणत नाही. परंतु सर्व प्रकारचे क्लेश, दुःख दूर करणार्या तुझे अनुसरण करणे एवढेच मी जाणतो. 

२) सगळ्यांचा उद्धार करणार्या हे करुणामयी माते, तुझ्या पूजेचे विधी जाणत नसल्याने तसेच धनाच्या अभावाने, आलस्यामुळे आणि ते विधी चांगल्या प्रकारे न जाणल्यामुळे तुझी, तुझ्या चरणांची सेवा करण्यांत जी चूक झाली असेल त्यासाठी मला क्षमा कर. कारण मुलगा जरी कुपुत्र झाला तरी माता कधीही कुमाता होऊ शकत नाही. 

३) माते या भूमंडळावर तुझे अनेकोनेक सरळ पुत्र असले तरी मी मात्र एक वेगळा अति चंचल पुत्र आहे. तरीसुद्धा हे शिवे माझा त्याग करणे योग्य नाही. कारण मुलगा जरी कुपुत्र झाला तरी माता कधीही कुमाता होऊ शकत नाही. 

४) हे जगदंबे! हे माते, मी तुझ्या चरणांची सेवा केली नाही, आवश्यक धन समर्पित केले नाही तरीसुद्धा तूं माझ्यावर अनुपम प्रेम करतेस म्हणून हे सत्यच आहे कि, मुलगा जरी कुपुत्र झाला तरी माता कधीही कुमाता होऊ शकत नाही. 

५) हे गणेश्याच्या माते, मी माझ्या पन्नास वर्षांपेक्षा अधिक आयुष्य घालवून सुद्धा निरनिराळ्या विविध पूजा पद्धतीना घाबरून सर्व देवांची पूजा करणे सोडून दिले. अशावेळी तुझी कृपा झाली नाही तर मी निराधार असलेला, कोणाला शरण जाऊ? 

६) हे माते अपर्णे , तुझी मंत्राक्षरे कानावर पडल्यावर चांडाळसुद्धा मिठाईसारखा मधुर वाणीचा मोठा वक्ता बनतो आणि अतिदरिद्री करोडपती बनतो व चिरकाल निर्भय होऊन रहातो. तर मग तुझ्या जपाचे अनुष्ठान करण्याचे जे फळ मिळते ते कोण जाणू शकतो? 

७) ज्यांनी चिता भस्म लावले आहे, विष खाल्ले आहे, दिगंबर रहतात, ज्यांनी जटाजूट बांधले आहे, गळ्यांत सर्पमाळ घातली आहे, हातांत खापर घेतले आहे, जे पशुपती आणि भूतांचे अधिपती आहेत त्या शिवालासुद्धा एकमात्र जगदीश्वर हि उपाधी हे भवानी माते त्यांनी तुझ्याशी विवाहकेल्यामुळेच मिळाली आहे. 

८) हे चंद्रमुखी माते! मला मोक्षाची इच्छा नाही, सांसारिक वैभवाची लालसा नाही, विज्ञान व सुखाची अभिलाषा नाही. म्हणून माझे सारे आयुष्य; मृडानी, रुद्राणी, शिव शिव भवानी अशा नावांचा जप करत जावो हे मागणे मी तुझ्याकडे मागतो. 

९) हे श्यामे ! मी अनेक विधींनी तुझी सेवा केली नाही. उलट अनिष्ट चिंतनांत आणि वचनांत मी काय काय (वाईट) गोष्टी केल्या नाही? असे असूनही माझ्यासारख्या अनाथावर तुझी कृपा असणे हे तुला उचितच आहे कारण तूं माझी माताच आहेस. 

१०) हे दुर्गे! हे दयासागर महेश्वरी, मी जेव्हां काही संकटांत पडतो, तेव्हां तुझीच आठवण करतो. याला तूं माझी दुष्टता समजू नकोस कारण तहानलेला-भुकेलेला मुलगा आपल्या आईचीच आठवण करतो. 

११) हे जगज्जननी ! माझ्यावर तुझी पूर्ण कृपा आहे यांत आश्चर्य ते काय? कारण अपराधी मुलाचासुद्धा त्याची माता त्याग करत नाही. 

१२) हे महादेवी! माझ्यासारखा पापी कोणीच नाही आणि तुझ्यासारखी पापांचा नाश करणारी दुसरी कोणी नाही. हे जाणून हे महादेवी! तुला जे उचित वाटेल ते कर. 

अशारीतीने प. पू. शंकराचार्यांनी रचिलेले हे देव्यपराधक्षमापन स्तोत्र पुरे झाले.
