Shri Katyayani Stuti
Katyayani Stuti is the praise of Goddess Katyayani by God Ram. This is in Sanskrit and it is from Mahabhagavat Mahapurana. Stuti means praise. God Ram knew that Goddess Katyayani was the goddess who had destroyed and killed demons like Mahishasur, Chandasur, Nishumbha, Shumbha and many other demons. God Ram had to fight with demon like Ravana, Kumbhakarna and other demons. Hence he praises the Goddess Katyayani and asked for her blessings to help him to kill all the demons.
Shri Ram Said
I bow to Goddess Katyayani who is being worshiped in all the three worlds and who makes us victorious in the war. I pray and request you to bless me and bring me victory in the war against demons.
Goddess Katyayani has a tremendous power. She defeats cruel enemies and cruel and bad demons. I bow to Goddess Katyayani and request her to make victorious in the war.
O! Goddess Katyayani you are the only power which is present in all. Please kill the cruel demons in the war and make me victorious.
You like war. You like to drink blood of the cruel demons. You like to eat their flesh. I bow to you, Goddess Katyayani and request you to make victorious in the war.
Goddess you are holding Khatvanga in your hand which is your weapon. You are wearing a necklace of the heads of the demons killed by you. O Goddess! Please remove sorrow, unhappiness from the life of devotees who always remember you or worship you.
O Goddess! You remove poverty, unhappiness from the life of devotees who surrender you. I bow to you, Goddess Katyayani and request you to make victorious in the war.
O Goddess! Your power, Beauty, Life and your behavior is beyond our understanding and our thinking. I bow to you, Goddess Katyayani and request you to make victorious in the war.
O Goddess those of your devotees who always remember you, they never face any difficulty in their life. I bow to you, Goddess Katyayani and request you to make victorious in the war.
You have killed very cruel demon Mahishasur and drank his blood. O daughter of Himalaya I surrender you, I bow to you, Goddess Katyayani and request you to make victorious in the war.
O Goddess Chandi, you have a very beautiful face. You had defeated Demon Chandasur. I bow to you, Goddess Katyayani and request you to make victorious in the war.
O Goddess! You have red eyes and red teeth. Your body has become red because of the blood of the demons killed by you. You had killed Demon Raktabij. I bow to you, Goddess Katyayani and request you to make victorious in the war.
You had killed cruel demons Nishumbha and Shumbha and protected the world. I bow to you, Goddess Katyayani and request you to make victorious in the war.
O Goddess! You are the power present in everybody which kills the cruel demons and enemies. I bow to you, Goddess Katyayani please bless me and make victorious in the war.
O Goddess! You destroy the bad things and protect and develop the good things. I bow to you. Please destroy my enemies, demons in the war and make me victorious.
O Goddess Shive! You remove the difficulties from the life of devotees. I bow to you, Goddess Katyayani please bless me and make victorious in the war and also remove fear of demons from my life.Thus here completes Goddess Katyayani Stuti by God Ram.

श्रीराम उवाच
नमस्ते त्रिजगद्वन्द्ये संग्रामे जयदायिनि ।
प्रसीद विजयं देहि कात्यायनि नमोsस्तु ते ॥ १ ॥
सर्वशक्तिमये दुष्टरिपुनिग्रहकारिणि ।
दुष्टजृम्भिणि संग्रामे जयं देहि नमोsस्तु ते ॥ २ ॥
त्वमेका परमा शक्तिः सर्वभूतेष्ववस्थिता ।
दुष्टं संहर संग्रामे जयं देहि नमोsस्तु ते ॥ ३ ॥
रणप्रिये रक्तभक्षे मांसभक्षणकारिणि ।
प्रपन्नार्तिहरे युद्धे जयं देहि नमोsस्तु ते ॥ ४ ॥
खट्वाग्ङासिकरे मुण्डमालाद्योतितविग्रहे ।
ये त्वां स्मरन्ति दुर्गेषु तेषां दुःखहरा भव ॥ ५ ॥
त्वत्पादपक्ङजात्दैन्यं नमस्ते शरणप्रिये ।
विनाशय रणे शत्रून् जयं देहि नमोsस्तु ते ॥ ६ ॥
अचिन्त्यविक्रमेsचिन्त्यरूपसौन्दर्यशालिनि ।
अचिन्त्यचरितेsचिन्त्ये जयं देहि नमोsस्तु ते ॥ ७ ॥
ये त्वां स्मरन्ति दुर्गेषु देवीं दुर्गविनाशिनीम् ।
नावसीदन्ति दुर्गेषु जयं देहि नमोsस्तु ते ॥ ८ ॥
महिषासृक्प्रिये संख्ये महिषासुरमर्दिनि ।
शरण्ये गिरिकन्ये मे जयं देहि नमोsस्तु ते ॥ ९ ॥
प्रसन्नवदने चण्डि चण्डासुरविमर्दिनि ।
संग्रामे विजयं देहि शत्रूञ्जहि नमोsस्तु ते ॥ १० ॥
रक्ताक्षि रक्तदशने रक्तचर्चितगात्रके ।
रक्तबीजनिहन्त्री त्वं जयं देहि नमोsस्तु ते ॥ ११ ॥
निशुम्भशुम्भसंहन्त्रि विश्वकर्त्रि सुरेश्वरि ।
जहि शत्रुन् रणे नित्यं जयं देहि नमोsस्तु ते ॥ १२ ॥
भवान्येतज्जगत्सर्वं त्वं पालयसि सर्वदा ।
रक्ष विश्वमिदं मातर्हत्वैतान् दुष्टराक्षसान् ॥ १३ ॥
त्वं हि सर्वगता शक्तिर्दुष्टमर्दनकारिणि ।
प्रसीद जगतां मातर्जयं देहि नमोsस्तु ते ॥ १४ ॥
दुर्वृत्तवृन्ददमनि सद्वृत्तपरिपालिनि ।
निपातय रणे शत्रूञ्जयं देहि नमोsस्तु ते ॥ १५ ॥
कात्यायनि जगन्मातः प्रपन्नार्तिहरे शिवे ।
संग्रामे विजयं देहि भयेभ्यः पाहि सर्वदा ॥ १६ ॥

श्रीराम म्हणाले
त्रिलोकांत वंदनीय असलेल्या, युद्धांत विजय देणार्या कात्यायनि देवि तुला मी पुनः पुनः नमस्कार करतो. आपण मला प्रसन्न होऊन विजय मिळवून द्या. सर्व प्रकारची शक्ती असलेल्या, दुष्ट शत्रुंचा नाश करणार्या आणि दुष्टांचा संहार करणार्या भगवती मला युद्धांत विजयी करा. आपल्याला मी नमस्कार करतो. हे देवी! आपण सर्व प्राणिमात्रामध्ये असणारी परा शक्ति आहात. युद्धामध्ये दुष्ट राक्षसांचा संहार करुन मला विजयी करा. आपल्याला मी नमस्कार करतो. हे युद्ध प्रिय असणार्या आणि शरणागतांची संकटे नाहीशी करणार्या, तसेच राक्षसांचे रक्त आणि मांस भक्षण करणार्या देवी! युद्धामध्ये मला विजय मिळवून द्या. आपल्याला मी नमस्कार करतो. हातांत खट्वांग तसेच खड्ग धारण करणार्या, मुण्डमालांनी सुशोभणार्या, विग्रहवाल्या देवी, कठिण परिस्थितींत जो आपले स्मरण करतो त्याचे दुःख हरण करा. हे शरणागतप्रिये! आपण आपल्या चरणकमलांचा अनुग्रह करुन दारिद्र्याचा, दीनतेचा नाश करा. युद्धामध्ये माझ्या शत्रुंचा नाश करुन मला विजय मिळवून द्या. आपल्याला मी नमस्कार करतो. आपला पराक्रम, रूप, सौन्दर्य आणि आपले चरित्र अचिन्त्य आहे. आपण स्वतःच अचिन्त्य आहात. आपल्याला मी नमस्कार करतो. मला युद्धांत विजय मिळवून द्या. जे लोक संकटांत असताना दुर्गतिचा नाश करणार्या भगवती आपले स्मरण करतात, ते अशा कठीण परिस्थितिंतही दुःखी होत नाहीत. आपल्याला मी नमस्कार करतो. आपल्याला मी नमस्कार करतो. मला युद्धांत विजय मिळवून द्या. युद्धामध्ये महिषासुराचे मर्दन करुन महिषासुराच्या रक्तपानाची रुचि असलेल्या, शरण आलेल्याना आसरा देणार्या हिमालयाच्या कन्ये आपल्याला मी नमस्कार करतो. मला युद्धांत विजय मिळवून द्या. चण्डासुराचा नाश करणार्या सदैव प्रसन्न चेहरा असलेल्या चंडिके युद्धामध्ये माझ्या शत्रुंचा नाश करुन मला विजय मिळवून द्या. आपल्याला मी नमस्कार करतो. लाल रंगाचे डोळे आणि दंतपंक्ती असलेल्या आणि रक्ताने अंग लिप्त असलेल्या भगवती, आपण रक्तबीजाचा संहार करणार्या आहात. आपण मला युद्धामध्ये माझ्या शत्रुंचा नाश करुन विजय मिळवून द्या. आपल्याला मी नमस्कार करतो. शुंभ आणि निशुंभाचा नाश करुन जगत सृष्टिचे पालन करणार्या सुरेश्वरी आपल्याला मी नमस्कार करतो. मला युद्धांत विजय मिळवून द्या. भवानी माते आपण नेहमी या संपूर्ण जगाचे पालन करता. आपण या दुष्ट राक्षसाना मारुन या विश्वाचे रक्षण करा. दुष्टांचा संहार करणार्या भगवती आपण शक्तीरुपाने सर्व प्राणीमात्रांमध्ये वास करता. आपण प्रसन्न होऊन मला युद्धांत विजय मिळवून द्या. आपल्याला मी नमस्कार करतो. दुराचार्यांचे दमन करणार्या आणि सदाचारियांचे पालन करणार्या भगवती युद्धामध्ये माझ्या शत्रुंचा नाश करुन विजय मिळवून द्या. आपल्याला मी नमस्कार करतो. शरणागतांचे दुःख दूर करणार्या आणि कल्याण करणार्या जगन्माते कात्यायनी, युद्धामध्ये माझ्या शत्रुंचा नाश करुन विजय मिळवून द्या. माझ्या भयाचा पूर्णपणे नाश करा. आपल्याला मी नमस्कार करतो.
