Shri Navanath Bhaktisar Adhyay 40
This is the last Adhyay of Shri Navanath Bhaktisar. God Indra called all the nine nathas for the Somabhasa Yadnya at Swarga. After completion of daily practices of Yadnya; Machchhindra used to teach Astravidya of the Nathpanth to his son Meennath who was living with his mother Kilotala in the Swarga. God Indra who was very eager to learn all the Nathpantha's Astravidya, used to be there in the form of a peacock while Machchhindra was teaching Meennath. God Indra learnt all. However on the last day of the Yadnya, he asked all to forgive him for his act of learning by cheating. Indra was cursed and told that whatever knowledge he had acquired would be useless to him and he would not remember anything. However Uparicharvasu, father of Machchhindra requested to forgive God Indra. Navanath agreed to it and asked God Indra to perform tapas of Twelve years. Then in this Adhyay Malu has told the importance of reading or listening of each and every Adhyay from 1 to 40 and the gain of it. Thus here completes the Navanath Bhaktisar Grantham which is told to us by Dhundisut Malu from Narahari family.
