Shri Navanath Bhaktisar Adhyay 27
King of Avanti ShubhaVikram had no son. However he was having a beautiful daughter, Sumedhavati. He decided to choose his successor for the kingdom as he himself was becoming older and older. As per the custom on a very auspicious day an elephant with a garland in the trunk was sent. The elephant was searching Vikram when Vikram was seen the garland was put on his neck. After confirming that Vikram was a son of Surochan Gandharv and Satyavati, daughter of King Satyavarma of Mithula, marriage of Vikram and Sumedhavati was done. Bartari was declared as yuvraj. He married to Pingala who was daughter of Sumati Mantri. Bhartari was in the forest for hunting. God Dattatreya gave him Nathpantha diksha. As per wish of Bhartari he allowed him to start the new life as per diksha after 12 years. In the next 28th adhyay Dhundisut Malu from Narahari family will tell us what happened next.
